How To Relax and Rest More as a Family

This isn’t a resolution. It’s a promise to myself and to our family. We will relax and rest more in 2025 and beyond. We will continue to work incredibly hard on all of the things, but we will make rest and relaxation a habit for our family.

How are we working on this?

  1. Family Stretches in the Evening (weekdays work best for us)-Rotate who gets to lead the stretch each night

  2. Family Meditation/Prayer Time-Daily-Rotate who gets to lead the prayer

  3. Family Meal at the Table at least twice a week

  4. Bringing Back Dance Parties-Monthly at least

  5. One day a week where we don’t all get in the car

  6. Family Meetings

  7. Encouraging everyone to take a bubble bath instead of a shower (not together) :)

  8. Music playing more frequently in the house

  9. Devices Off Silent/Reading Time

  10. Getting Outside In Nature Together Weekly
